Just a note to keep in touch and encourage you to keep writing. The creative year is now in full swing, which means those New Year plans and resolutions on writing can start to dissipate as life takes over, yet again.
Some writers are born with the innate ability to nurture their ideas by themselves. They make their seedling thoughts flower without reading inspirational books, blogs on writing or joining writing groups. Other writers need to acquire knowledge to make their ideas blossom. To stay confident and on point with writing time, many writers need to be with other creatives and like-minded people. Personally, I am in the latter group. If you’re anything like me, you will over time understand your ‘happy triggers.’
When my creativity no longer flows, I know I need self-discovery and time with other writers. If you relate to what I’m saying here, Florence might be just what you need. Instead of pushing and punishing your creative self to crank out good stuff, come to Florence and learn some vital guidelines that will help sustain your writing flow for years to come.
Let’s make writing natural and easy.
Designed to hone your craft, the Art of Writing has three summer retreats in 2023 taking place in Florence, as well as a new, special retreat on how to edit your finished manuscript. I’ve been a writer, journalist, and Florence resident for twenty-five years, so you’ll never be alone here. With your fellow writers (and me!) you will always have someone to write, walk, talk and dine with.
I would love to write with you in Florence this year. If you’d like to share any comments or thoughts, I’d be happy to hear from you. Email me directly at lisacliffordwriter@gmail.com.
My very best,
Lisa
